There are primarily two types of Lamborghini Lambo Door Kits. You have Universal Kits and Vehicle Specific Lambo door kits. I also want to point out some refer to vertical door kits as Lambo Doors or Lamborghini Doors and/or Lamborghini style door kits and even 90 degree Kits and vice versa. If I say lambo kit, 90 degree Kit or vertical door kit they are one in the same.

The custom kits are made an available for a wide range of domestic and import vehicles. Custom kits differ from specific application design bolt-on door kits in that they are not pre-drilled, or tapped. Transferring the existing door hinge bolt pattern to the new hinge modifies the custom kits. Using this method customers and custom shops has successfully applied the custom door kit to a wide variety of vehicles without complication.

The lambo doors were developed because of the popularity of the Lamborghini motor car. The car is one of the most expensive vehicles in the world with starting prices of a quarter of a million dollars. This price tag makes the car unattainable by many.
